2. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, authentication identifiers and account status.
- Billing information: subscription plan, Stripe customer/subscription identifiers, billing status and renewal information. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by us.
- Content you provide: product names, URLs, creator notes and other information you submit to generate campaigns.
- Generated content and usage: campaigns, generation history, plan allowance and usage counts.
- Technical information: limited logs and diagnostic information needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
- Feedback and support information: issue reports you choose to submit about a generated campaign, such as an incorrect product, fact or script, together with any optional detail you provide.
3. Why we use your information
We use personal information to create and manage accounts, provide the service, process subscriptions, enforce generation limits, store generation history, respond to support and issue reports, improve product quality, prevent abuse, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, send service-related usage alerts where that feature is enabled, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Our lawful bases
- Contract: where processing is needed to provide the service or administer a subscription you requested.
- Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, improve and protect the service, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligation: where we must keep or disclose information to comply with law, tax, accounting or regulatory requirements.
- Consent: where we specifically ask for consent, for example if optional non-essential cookies or marketing are introduced in future.
5. Service providers and sharing
We use specialist providers to run the service. These currently include Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for billing and subscription management, OpenAI for AI generation and web-assisted product research, and Vercel for hosting and application infrastructure. If transactional usage-alert emails are enabled, we may also use an email delivery provider such as Resend to send those service messages. We only share information with providers as needed for them to perform their services, or where required by law.
6. International transfers
Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use providers and arrangements designed to provide appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy regulations, contractual safeguards or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
7. How long we keep information
While a Creator or Pro membership is active, we retain the premium campaign library needed to provide the service. If paid membership ends, that premium library is locked and retained for 90 days so it can be restored if the membership is reactivated during that period. If the membership is not reactivated within 90 days, retained premium campaign and library data, including generated campaign content, Saved Hooks and Saved Styles, is deleted from the active service.
Account, billing and transaction records may be retained for longer where reasonably needed for support, security, dispute resolution, tax, accounting or legal obligations. Free-trial account information may also be retained while the account remains open and as otherwise described in this policy. If you ask us to delete your account or personal data, we will delete or anonymise information that we no longer need to retain lawfully.
8. Browser storage and cookies
The service may use strictly necessary browser storage or authentication technologies to keep you signed in and operate account features. We also use local browser storage to remember simple interface state, such as whether you have dismissed the first-use onboarding guide. We do not currently use advertising cookies. If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising or similar cookies, we will provide appropriate information and consent controls where required.
9. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability, as well as the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). To exercise a right, contact support@affiliatescriptlab.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong, unique password and keep your account credentials confidential.
11. Children
The service is intended for people aged 18 or over and is not designed for children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes or legal requirements develop. We will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice of material changes.
